has been the number one tourism site for Byron Bay since 1998. With around 1 million people visiting the site every year, the site needs to provide a range of information whilst remaining current and maintaining a high level of navigability. The site was first built with static HTML and was heavily optimised for search engine traffic (SEO). The move to Drupal was complicated as it required the maintenance of the existing site structure as well as the URLs of all of the static content in order to maintain the SEO of the site. This required the use of a range of Drupal modules specifically designed to help with SEO as well as modules that could perform custom rewrites for URLs.
